SilversJacobson Senior Partner Steven Silvers is one of the Rocky Mountain region's most trusted crisis/controversy and corporate public relations advisors, with more than three decades experience across a wide range of issues and industries. Steve has counseled dozens of companies and organizations including Chipotle Mexican Grill, Denver International Airport, EAS, Fox News, Lions Club International, Cherry Creek Shopping Center, Noble Energy, Red Robin, Vail Resorts, technology start-ups, international charities and universities.
Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Steve has held strategic communications titles at two Fortune 500 companies, the Pentagon, with two of the world’s largest PR firms, and as founder of an integrated communications firm that helped launch several innovative technologies and services. His corporate communications experience includes a long list of new ventures, M&A events, repositioning campaigns and IPOs. Industry specialties include property development and destinations, energy, hospitality, healthcare, communications and other areas.
Steve is the creator of SilversJacobson’s Reputation Asset Management Platform (RAMP), a uniquely pragmatic strategic communications planning model that helps clients anticipate, prepare for and even avoid altogether the potential damage of a sudden crisis -- especially the ones that nobody sees coming.
A U.S. Army veteran awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Steve majored in journalism and photojournalism at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications. He’s a Leadership Denver graduate and served on the board of directors for the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, among other organizations. Steve is active in the community and a frequent speaker on reputation crisis management.
